The traditional tabbouleh (or also known as tabouli) salad is commonly using bulgur as one of the main components. However this recipe is using quinoa because quinoa is more commonly available in stores and contain good amount of protein. This recipe is using pre-cooked quinoa for faster results. Leftover can be kept in the refrigerator for the next couple days.
